Air India recently revealed the complete details of the temporary reduction in long-haul services operated by Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft. This decision follows a tragic plane crash on June 12 in Ahmedabad, leading to disruptions in the airline's operations. The aim is to restore schedule stability and minimize inconvenience to passengers.
The changes will be in effect from June 21 to at least July 15, 2025, due to enhanced pre-flight safety checks and extended flight times caused by airspace closures in the Middle East. Passengers will be notified in advance and provided with rebooking options or full refunds.
