He was known for rag-dolling defenders in his day, and Barry Hall has tackled this hilarious acting cameo with the same vigour.

Former AFL star Barry Hall, known for his aggressive playing style, has made a surprising cameo in a Melbourne band's music video. Portraying the character Keith in Playlunch's latest project, Hall showcased his acting skills by embodying an angry neighbour with intense vigor.

During his AFL career, Hall was famously called 'Big Bad Bazza' for his dominant presence on the field. In the music video, he effortlessly slipped into the role of Keith, exuding an intimidating aura reminiscent of his playing days.

Wearing a navy blue tank top and 'speedies', the 48-year-old's muscular physique and fierce expression were as formidable as ever, evoking memories of his football prowess.

The clip features the band members singing about a man who used to live across from them, with Hall's character, Keith, displaying his anger by smashing VB stubbies and causing a scene with his white Volkswagen Amarok.

When Keith becomes enraged after someone parks in his spot, he storms into his neighbours' home, delivering a powerful outburst and physically dominating them, mirroring his aggressive playing style on the field.

Unsurprisingly, fans of Hall praised his performance in the video, with many commending the choice of casting him as Keith.

Barry Hall retired from professional football in 2011 after a successful career playing for St Kilda, Sydney, and Western Bulldogs. Despite facing several suspensions during his time as a player, including a notable incident in 2008, he remains a respected figure in the sport.

Off the field, Hall is a family man with four children and is actively involved in Melbourne's muscle car community. He has explored various ventures post-retirement, such as radio, boxing, and reality TV.
