President Asif Zardari, PM Shehbaz laud security forces for successful operation against 'Fitna al Khawarij'

Security forces conducted two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the elimination of five terrorists associated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Khawarij, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.

One operation took place in Peshawar district, where four terrorists, including Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer, were killed after a confrontation with troops. The ISPR reported that the raid targeted a location known to harbor Indian-sponsored Khawarij members.

In a separate operation in North Waziristan, another terrorist was killed in a gun battle with security forces. The military recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists, who had been involved in various terrorist activities in the region.

Following the operations, sanitization activities were initiated in both areas to ensure the complete eradication of any remaining threats. The ISPR emphasized the commitment of Pakistan's security forces to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their successful operation against Fitna al Khawarij. President Zardari affirmed that the fight against the group would persist until terrorism is completely eradicated from the nation, while Prime Minister Sharif warned that anti-human terrorists would face severe consequences for their actions.
