Yoga Day: 302,087 people participated in the Visakhapatnam event alone, with some citizens arriving as early as 2 AM, reflecting their enthusiasm.

A remarkable Guinness World Record was achieved in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam on Saturday for hosting the largest yoga session in one place. The event saw more than three lakh people participating in the Yoga Day celebration.

Official reports stated that 302,087 individuals took part in the Visakhapatnam event alone, with some attendees arriving as early as 2 AM, showcasing their enthusiasm for the occasion.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu conducted a thorough review of the successful International Yoga Day festivities held throughout the state, particularly emphasizing the historic event in Visakhapatnam.

Naidu praised the flawless and record-breaking organization of International Yoga Day, lauding the contributions of ministers, MLAs, staff, and other officials.

The large-scale event represented a significant advancement in promoting public health and wellness, demonstrating effective inter-departmental coordination and widespread public involvement, as stated by the chief minister.

Another Guinness World Record was established on the same day for the largest synchronized Surya Namaskar performed by 22,122 tribal students.

A notable aspect of the event was the implementation of a QR code-based system to track participants, which officials noted provided highly precise attendance data, setting a new standard for public gatherings.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who engaged in Yoga activities on the 11th International Day of Yoga in Visakhapatnam, highlighted the importance of Yoga in promoting peace amidst global tensions. He emphasized that Yoga offers a pathway to tranquility and unity, especially during times of turmoil and instability worldwide.
