It’s mostly countries like Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Canada, and such that people think about when it comes to Northern lights. However, it seems like after this video went viral, Northern lights enthusiasts ended up adding a new ‘place’ to enjoy these lights from, in their bucket list: Space!

Social media was left stunned after NASA astronaut Colonel Anne McClain shared a rather unique aurora view: Northern lights from Space. Reportedly, McClain was onboard SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. Due to the unique angle, the lights, unlike the famous strings of greens and purples, were only visible on the horizon, much like a ‘line of glowing green’. The post was quick to go viral, drawing all kinds of reactions.

Most loved the clip, while some expressed their desire to watch the Northern lights from Space.
