World number one Sinner is chasing a third consecutive Slam title, while the Spaniard aims to keep his 100 percent record in major finals. Follow real-time updates from Court Philippe-Chatrier.

Who will be crowned French Open men's singles champion at Roland-Garros?

Just as in the women's singles, the final sees a clash between the top two players in the world rankings with Jannik Sinner going up against reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz.

This is Sinner's first French Open final with not a set dropped on his way here, and victory would see him tie Alcaraz on four Slam titles. The Spaniard won their last four meetings including in last year's Roland-Garros semi-finals where he prevailed 6-3 in the decider.

With three and four Grand Slams respectively, neither Sinner nor Alcaraz have lost a major final: that must change.
