MANILA, PHILIPPINES – PLDT Global Corporation, the international arm of the Philippines’ leading telco PLDT Inc., has named Vic Sotto as the first brand ambassador for its flagship overseas service platform, Tindahan ni Bossing (TinBo). The announcement marks a strategic alignment of trust and technology, spotlighting the celebrity’s deep connection with generations of Filipinos at home and abroad.

For over five decades, Vic Sotto, also known as “Bossing” has been a mainstay of Filipino entertainment. His enduring popularity and credibility have made him a symbol of dependability, making him an inspired choice to represent TinBo, PLDT Global’s all in one digital marketplace. TinBo enables overseas Filipinos to remotely provide for their families in the Philippines through services such as mobile load, utility bill payments, digital vouchers, and more.

As part of the partnership, Vic Sotto will be featured in a new video campaign titled “Alagang Bossing”, launching on June 15, 2025. The campaign highlights how TinBo makes it easier for overseas Filipinos to send next-level care to their families through digital services such as load, bills payment, e-vouchers, and more.

TinBo and MQuest Ventures will also stage the HK Fest 2025, a three-day celebration of Philippine Independence happening in Hong Kong from June 13–15. There will be a Makabayan Film Fest on June 13 and 14, showcasing award-winning Filipino films Song of the Fireflies, GomBurZa, and The Kingdom at the Emperor Cinemas iSQUARE. Some cast members are also expected to go to select screenings during the event.

On June 15, the Raffy Tulfo Action Center will also participate in the HK Fest 2025 with a special public service booth to cater to selected pre-registered overseas Filipinos, followed by the highlight of the HK Fest 2025 – the Saludo Concert, a star-studded, free musical show for Filipinos on Chater Road. TinBo ambassador Vic Sotto will headline the concert, along with some of his co-hosts from Eat Bulaga, and other MediaQuest artists.
