A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday morning as a man and his two children lost their lives in a massive fire that erupted on the top floor of a residential building in Delhi's Dwarka Sector 13. The fire broke out around 10am, quickly engulfing the entire top floor of the Shabad Apartment near MRV School.
Despite their attempts to escape by jumping from their flat in panic, the father and his children could not be rescued. Details about their ages were not immediately available, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
Upon receiving a call about the blaze at 10:01am, eight fire tenders were deployed to the scene. Firefighting operations were in progress, with authorities striving to bring the situation under control. Police, fire department, and ambulance services were all present at the location.
As of now, the reason behind the fire is yet to be determined. More information will be shared as the investigation progresses. Residents in the vicinity were urged to steer clear of the area to facilitate the smooth functioning of emergency services.
