Knights coach Adam O’Brien will be forced to turn to exiled half Jackson Hastings this week with injuries and State of Origin decimating his spine. Hastings hasn’t played a single NRL game this season and is said to be on the outer at the club, but is expected to be rushed into the halves to partner Jack Cogger.
FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play.
A number of clubs’ depth will be tested this week due to Origin camp but none more so than the Dragons. Despite only having one player selected (Valentine Holmes), coach Shane Flanagan is going to have to dig deep — or potentially do a major reshuffle — to cover the loss.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have four players unavailable due to Origin duties, but that clears the path for new recruit Lachlan Galvin to start in the halves.
The Rabbitohs and Dolphins are sweating on the availability of some key players, but for the Sea Eagles, they welcome back star fullback Tom Trbojevic among others.
