The Police Regional Office-6 recently distributed P21 million worth of information and communications technology (ICT) equipment along with a patrol vehicle to various police units in the Western Visayas region.
Leading the distribution was PRO-6 Deputy Regional Director for Operations, Police Col. Roland Bulalacao, representing Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky at Camp Delgado, the PRO-6 headquarters in Iloilo City.
Funded by Camp Crame, the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Quezon City, the new patrol vehicle was handed over to the Leganes Municipal Police Station under the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) by Bulalacao. The symbolic key for the vehicle was presented to Leganes Mayor JunJun Jaen and municipal police chief Police Capt. Enrique Robles.
- The Aklan, Antique, and Capiz Provincial Police Offices (PPOs) along with the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) each received 23 desktop computers and one tablet.
- The Iloilo and Negros Occidental PPOs were provided with 55 desktop computers and one tablet each.
- The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) received 15 desktop computers and one tablet.
