Kyiv, Ukraine, is currently experiencing a severe aerial assault, as residents report continuous waves of drones and missiles causing near-constant explosions throughout the city.
Reports from authorities confirm that at least two individuals have been injured in the attacks.
Overnight, dozens of drones were launched towards Kyiv, with some managing to evade interception and causing fires in various districts. The relentless barrage of drones and missiles follows a previous night where Russian forces targeted multiple regions in Ukraine with over 470 attack drones, marking one of the largest aerial strikes of the conflict according to Ukraine's air force.
Earlier on Monday, Russia and Ukraine initiated a prisoner exchange as part of an agreement made during peace negotiations in Istanbul.
