Swedish activist battles U.S. president (again).

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg found herself in the midst of controversy once again as she embarked on a mission organized by the pro-Palestinian Freedom Flotilla Coalition to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The mission aimed to help civilians in Gaza who are facing a hunger crisis due to Israel's conflict with Hamas militants.

Accompanied by left-wing French-Palestinian MEP Rima Hassan, Thunberg faced criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump. He referred to her as a 'strange' and 'angry' person, suggesting that she should undergo anger management classes.

Upon her arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, Thunberg condemned Israel for what she described as an 'illegal act' of kidnapping the members of the mission in international waters. She also criticized EU governments for their silence on the issue, accusing them of indirectly supporting the killing of Palestinians by providing military aid to Israel.

Expressing concern for the detained members of the ship, Thunberg highlighted the challenges they were facing under Israeli authorities' custody. She mentioned that there were indications that the authorities would not make it easy for them.

Israeli authorities referred to Thunberg's vessel as the 'selfie yacht' and attempted to deport all passengers and crew following the interception of the boat.
