Tollywood is currently facing a dearth of major releases, leading to the temporary closure of several theaters. Amidst this, all eyes are on the upcoming social drama Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula and starring Dhanush, set to release on June 20. Industry insiders are hopeful that this film could potentially revive single-screen theaters.

Notable actors like King Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna also play significant roles in the film. Recently, the makers unveiled the third single, 'Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum,' at an event in Mumbai, attended by the main cast. When asked about his character in the movie, Dhanush revealed, 'I portray the role of a beggar. Despite claims of extensive research and preparation, the truth is that I simply followed my director's instructions without much ado.'

The talented actor, who has won the National Award, further elaborated, 'Sekhar sir was exceptional in guiding me through the nuances of the character. He provided clear instructions, including the dialect, making the process seamless for me. Kuberaa holds a special place in my heart; it's not just another project for me. Although I don't often step out for promotions, I believe Kuberaa deserves the spotlight.'
