The Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO-7) in Cebu City has been acknowledged as one of the top-performing units in the country. Led by regional director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, PRO-7 achieved the highest score of 81.986 points in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for April 2025, surpassing all other 17 police regional offices nationwide.
UPER is a monthly evaluation that assesses various performance indicators including discipline, law enforcement effectiveness, personnel management, administrative operations, and community engagement for each regional police office.
The exceptional performance of PRO-7 reflects the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork exhibited by its personnel, according to the official announcement.
