A woman in her 30s from China has been taken into custody after attempting to break into the residence of BTS member Jungkook in Seoul. This incident took place shortly after Jungkook's discharge from mandatory military service on Wednesday, June 11, around 11:20 pm local time.
Reports from South Korean media state that the woman was seen trying to access Jungkook's home by repeatedly attempting to unlock the keypad door. A vigilant local resident noticed her suspicious behavior and promptly informed the authorities. She was apprehended on-site by officers from the Yongsan Police Precinct.
During interrogation, the woman, who remains unidentified, revealed that she had traveled to South Korea with the sole intention of meeting Jungkook. Police investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
Earlier on the same day, Jungkook and fellow BTS member Jimin completed their military service. They appeared in their military attire in Yeoncheon county, facing the press and fans. Jungkook expressed his feelings, stating, "Actually, it’s been so long since I’ve been in front of cameras, and I didn’t even put on makeup, so I’m a bit embarrassed. I don’t know what to say."
RM and V had been discharged a day prior, leaving only Suga to fulfill his duties as a social service agent. Suga is scheduled to be discharged on June 21.
