A new collection of Labubu figures inspired by food items such as cup noodles and shrimp tempura is set to be released on June 13. The Monsters Wacky Mart series will be available for purchase starting at 10am on Friday via Pop Mart Singapore’s website.

The collection includes a variety of quirky characters resembling everyday food items like a cup noodle, a carton of milk, onigiri, corn cob, a bag of chips, and a can of sardines. The rare piece in this series is a Labubu with a microwave.

Customers can choose from three different blind boxes: The Monsters Wacky Mart Series Figures (S$19.99), The Monsters Wacky Mart Series Pinch Pendant Blind Box (S$18.99), and The Monsters Wacky Mart Series Fridge Magnet Blind Box (S$19.99).

In addition to the figures, the series will also feature plush keychains and accessories. Notable items include The Monsters Wacky Mart Series Earphone Case (S$25.99) shaped like a tempura shrimp Labubu that can also be used as an earphone pouch, and The Monsters Wacky Mart Series Pillow designed as a bag of chips (S$44.99).

Although the collection is already listed on Pop Mart Singapore’s website, it will officially go on sale at 10am this Friday.

Labubu is a character created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung as part of The Monsters series, which draws inspiration from Nordic fairy tales. The characters, resembling elves, fairies, and monsters, were introduced by Lung in 2015.

The Labubu character gained global popularity in April 2024 after Blackpink member Lisa shared Instagram stories featuring a giant Labubu plush toy and a Labubu charm. In August 2024, fans flocked to the Pop Toy Show at Marina Bay Sands to purchase limited-edition Labubu items, including an exclusive Labubu Merlion pendant.
