Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has revealed that he and his fiancée, Pakistani actor and model Merub Ali, have decided to go their separate ways after being engaged for nearly three years.

Azhar made the announcement late last night through an Instagram story, emphasizing that the decision was made peacefully and mutually.

"After much contemplation, Merub and I have chosen to part ways amicably and mutually," Azhar stated.

He went on to say, "Although we shared many meaningful moments and had hoped for a future together, life sometimes has its own plans. We have deep respect for each other and our families, and always will."

The singer of the popular song Jo Tu Na Mila requested privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging time.

"We kindly request your understanding and privacy at this time, and we hope that this request is met with the same level of grace with which it is being shared," his statement concluded.

Asim Azhar and Merub, both well-known personalities in the Pakistani entertainment industry, announced their engagement in March 2022, much to the joy of their fans.
