The survivor of the Air India flight AI 171 crash shared his harrowing experience with the media, revealing that he heard a loud noise shortly after takeoff. The Boeing 787-8 aircraft crashed just after departing from Ahmedabad, India, killing over 200 people on board.

The survivor, identified as Ramesh Viswashkumar, was in seat 11A and described the crash as happening suddenly and rapidly. He recounted seeing bodies around him and pieces of the plane scattered everywhere as he made his escape.

Viswashkumar's brother, Ajay, who was also on the flight, remains missing. The survivor made a plea for help in locating his brother, as he was unable to find him after the crash.

Footage from the scene showed Viswashkumar being assisted into an ambulance, visibly injured and surrounded by bystanders. The tragic incident occurred in a residential area outside the airport, claiming the lives of 204 individuals and leaving the survivor as the only known person receiving medical treatment.
