A survivor of the tragic Air India crash in India has been identified as a British national who was seated in 11A on the London-bound flight. The crash claimed the lives of at least 200 people, with only one survivor reported by the police chief. Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik confirmed that the survivor, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, shared his harrowing experience from the hospital, describing a loud noise and sudden crash just 30 seconds after take-off.
Mr. Ramesh provided his boarding pass to Indian media, showcasing his name and seat number. Commissioner Malik stated that the survivor is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. The flight was carrying a total of 242 people, including 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese nationals, and one Canadian. The tragic incident occurred less than a minute after the plane took off, crashing into a building used by doctors.
