Prince County Hospital in Summerside has announced an RSV outbreak on its Restorative Unit. In response, patients in the unit are now limited to one visitor at a time, with all visitors required to adhere to current infection control measures, such as wearing a mask.
The recent respiratory illness outbreak at Maplewood Manor in Alberton has been officially declared as over. Health PEI has expressed gratitude towards the staff for their efforts in managing and containing the outbreak at the facility.
Visitors to all Health PEI care facilities are urged to refrain from visiting if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
