A 66-year-old woman has been accused of causing death by careless driving following a tragic crash in Co Antrim that claimed the life of an American woman. The incident occurred yesterday, leading to the woman's upcoming appearance at Coleraine magistrates court on Friday.
The PSNI received reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle in the Causeway Road area of Bushmills around 12:30 pm. The victim, identified as 40-year-old Allison Eichner from Connecticut, USA, was rushed to the hospital by emergency responders but sadly succumbed to her injuries.
