A new 'Minerals Complex' has been established for mineral exploration with the backing of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The Minerals Complex is operated under the Anfal Group, following a collaboration between SIFC and the Punjab government. A work order has been granted to the 'Anfal Group' with an initial investment of 150 million dollars.
This initiative is anticipated to result in annual savings of 2.9 billion dollars in chemical imports for Pakistan. Additionally, it will create avenues for the export of essential chemicals, such as rock salt.
