The Assembly communities committee “has expressed no confidence” in minister Gordon Lyons following controversy over comments made about Larne Leisure Centre housing individuals displaced by rioting.

Gordon Lyons, a DUP Minister, is currently under scrutiny for remarks he made on social media prior to Larne Leisure Centre being set on fire. The Assembly communities committee has now expressed their lack of confidence in Minister Lyons due to this controversy.
