The organisers of the Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor run are happy to announce that €10,000 was raised at the 2024 tractor run for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

The Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor run organizers are pleased to announce that they raised €10,000 at the 2024 tractor run in support of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. A presentation was recently held in Ballina to hand over the donation.

Since its inception, the Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor Run has raised a total of €36,500 for various charities. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the 160 tractors that participated last year, as well as the local community members who gathered at the GAA field to show their support.

The organizers also extended their thanks to the 99% of local businesses that sponsor the event annually, the volunteers who assist with traffic management, the local guards for their support, the local GAA for providing the car park, and Mckeogh’s, Ballina, for offering parking after the run.

Appreciation was also expressed to John Ryan of Liam Ó Rian's bar for hosting the auction, Larkins Gala for providing food, Sean Ryan and Dairygold for their consistent sponsorship, McHales, Birdhill, for their generous support, as well as Mike and Christy McGrath and John McKeogh.

The organizers are already gearing up for this year's event, scheduled for Sunday, December 14, with a new and exciting route in the works. Those interested in supporting the run are encouraged to reach out to the organizing team. Once again, a big thank you to everyone involved.
