Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, or WWDC, is a significant event for Apple enthusiasts. The company's keynote speech took place at Apple Park on Monday, kicking off the conference that runs until June 13. This year marks the one-year anniversary of Apple's entry into the AI space with Apple Intelligence.

Key Announcements from WWDC 2025

• Liquid Glass: Apple introduced Liquid Glass, a new cross-platform design language that brings a significant UI update to its operating systems. Inspired by VisionOS, Liquid Glass adds translucency to the UI, making elements behave like glass and adapt to surrounding content. This update will roll out to iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and Visions Pro later this Fall.
• iOS 26: Apple is changing its naming convention with the next iOS update, now named iOS 26. The update includes Liquid Glass and new features like a unified layout for the Phone app, Call Screening, Hold Assist, and more.
• macOS Tahoe: The latest macOS update, named after Lake Tahoe, features the Liquid Glass UI, redesigned dock, sidebars, and toolbars. The Phone app is coming to Mac computers for a seamless user experience between iPhone and Mac.
• iPadOS 26: Liquid Glass will also be on iPadOS 26, along with a new windowing system that allows users to resize apps and web pages. Live Translations and other improvements are introduced for Apple Intelligence.
• WatchOS 26: Apple Watches will have a new Workout Buddy feature powered by Apple Intelligence, providing real-time insights during workouts. Notifications will be more aware of the surrounding environment, adjusting volume levels accordingly.
