The breakdown in the add-ons as part of Liverpool's record-breaking move for Florian Wirtz have come to light, along with a transfer fee lower than first reported.

Liverpool made a significant move by convincing Florian Wirtz to choose Anfield over Bayern Munich. Arne Slot played a key role in persuading the German star, who agreed to a five-year contract.

Initial reports by Fabrizio Romano and Sky Germany confirmed a €150m / £127m deal with Bayer Leverkusen. However, other media outlets were slow to confirm.

Recent updates from David Ornstein, Paul Joyce, and Lewis Steele now confirm Liverpool's club-to-club agreement. The actual fee, lower than initially reported, is €136m / £116m, with £100m guaranteed and £16m in add-ons.

If all add-ons are triggered, Wirtz will become the most expensive player in Premier League history, surpassing Moises Caicedo's record. The majority of Liverpool's add-ons are linked to winning major trophies and Wirtz's involvement in those victories.

Wirtz's transfer will be official once the summer window reopens, as he is currently on holiday and expected to undergo a medical upon his return next week.
