Sunjay Kapur, the ex-husband of Karisma Kapoor, passed away recently at the age of 53 due to a heart attack while in England for a polo tournament. His company, Sina Comstar, confirmed the news, stating that he suffered a sudden heart attack in the UK.

While initial reports cited a heart attack as the cause of death, there have been speculations surrounding the circumstances leading to Sunjay Kapur's passing. Suhel Seth mentioned that Sunjay may have swallowed a bee during a polo match, which could have contributed to the heart attack.

Sunjay Kapur was previously married to designer Nandita Mahtani before tying the knot with Karisma Kapoor in 2003. The couple shares two children, Samaira and Kiaan, and divorced in 2014. Sunjay later married Priya Sachdev in 2017, with whom he has a son named Azarias.
