Washington Freedom are the reigning champions heading into the third season of Major League Cricket, after defeating San Francisco Unicorns by 96 runs in the final of the previous season.
This season of MLC has expanded to a total of 34 matches from 25, making it the longest campaign in Major League Cricket history.
