Isabelle Daza’s son, Baltie, recently recreated his grandmother Gloria Diaz’s famous response during the Miss Universe preliminaries.

Isabelle shared a video on Instagram showing Baltie enjoying rice and barbecue with his hands.

She playfully asked him if Filipinos really eat with their hands, to which Baltie cleverly replied, "Why? Do you eat with your feet?" echoing his grandma’s memorable moment from the 1969 Miss Universe.

In the caption, Isabelle expressed how proud Baltie is to be Pinoy, especially with a grandmother known for her iconic comebacks.

Isabelle and her husband, Adrien Semblat, welcomed Baltie in 2018, followed by Valentin in 2021 and Esmeralda in 2023.

On the other hand, Gloria Diaz is gearing up for a role in the upcoming series "Beauty Empire" by GMA Network, Viu Philippines, and CreaZion Studios, where she will star alongside Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez, and more.
