Transfer market expert Graeme Bailey has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur could still be in the running for Bryan Mbeumo, potentially having an edge over Manchester United in the race for the Brentford player.

Recent reports indicated that Spurs were unlikely to compete for Mbeumo, who seemed inclined towards joining Manchester United. However, the situation has evolved following the appointment of Thomas Frank as the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Sports has now reported that Mbeumo is more interested in a move to Spurs after Frank's arrival at N17.

Bailey highlighted that while Manchester United are the favorites to secure Mbeumo's signature, a move to Tottenham cannot be ruled out. The presence of Thomas Frank and the opportunity to stay in London could be appealing to the 25-year-old, despite his initial preference for Old Trafford.

According to Bailey, there is a possibility that Mbeumo might consider staying in London if given the chance, which could influence his decision-making process.

Additionally, Tottenham's interest in Mbeumo is not isolated, as they are also reportedly pursuing Mikkel Damsgaard from Brentford. Thomas Frank is keen on bringing Christian Norgaard to Spurs as well, although the latter recently signed a contract extension with Brentford.
