A young child has been transported to the hospital after being involved in an incident with a lorry. Emergency services responded to Hose Street in Tunstall earlier today. The same incident has led to road closures in parts of Tower Square and Forster Street.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service stated that they received a call about a road traffic collision in Tunstall. Upon arrival, they found a pedestrian who had been in a collision with a lorry on Hose Street. The toddler, a male, received treatment on the scene for non-serious injuries and was then taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital as a precaution.
Staffordshire Police has been contacted for a statement regarding the incident. Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact the police on 101.
