PTI leader and Punjab organizer, Aliya Hamza, has strongly criticized the government and judiciary, accusing the 26th Constitutional Amendment of paralyzing the judicial system by sending judges 'on leave'.

Speaking to reporters outside an anti-terrorism court where she appeared for a hearing, Hamza condemned what she perceived as a targeted legal campaign against PTI. She expressed frustration at being dragged to different courts like Rawalpindi and Sargodha every time they protest.

Questioning the legitimacy of the government, Hamza pointed out the rising inflation and linked it to a reported 30% drop in Eid al-Azha sacrificial animal sales. She mocked the rulers, stating that if they truly had public support, they wouldn't be in such a precarious position.

Hamza accused the judiciary of being 'captive' and claimed that justice cannot be served when prosecutors and judges are frequently absent. She attributed the sidelining of the entire judicial structure to the 26th Amendment and assured that PTI would persist in its fight for the rule of law.

Describing the current leadership as a 'curse imposed on the nation,' she highlighted the high unemployment rate, stating that 18 million youth are currently without jobs. She also blamed the federal budget for exacerbating the crisis.

Hamza announced PTI's plan to conduct mock assemblies outside Parliament and the Punjab Assembly using Form-45s to protest what she called the 'theft of the public mandate.' She emphasized PTI's commitment to peaceful demonstrations, citing the 126-day sit-in where not even a flowerpot was broken.

Recalling the November 26 protest, Hamza mentioned that PTI workers were fired upon and the lights were turned off during a peaceful demonstration in Sambarial. In a legal development, the anti-terrorism court extended Aliya Hamza's interim bail related to the November 26 protest cases until June 27.
