Rains brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the southwest monsoon, or habagat, will affect parts of the country on Saturday, June 14, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, said.

Rainfall from the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the southwest monsoon, known as habagat, will impact various regions of the Philippines on Saturday, June 14, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. Similarly, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Ilocos Norte will face the same weather conditions brought by habagat.

Conversely, Metro Manila and other parts of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA has issued warnings for possible flash floods or landslides in these areas. The sunrise is anticipated at 5:27 a.m. with the sunset at 6:26 p.m.
