The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), and the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) have recently come together to sign an agreement aimed at the development of the Clark Aviation Campus.

According to a news release by CAAP, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) was officially signed on June 13 at the Civil Aviation Training Center in Pasay City, solidifying the partnership between the three entities.

As per the terms of the agreement, CAAP will provide technical assistance to CIAC and implement initiatives to enhance regulatory frameworks, while CIAC will offer relevant data and information sharing opportunities. PhilSCA, on the other hand, will bring in training, expertise, and advanced technical instruction in the field of aviation.

The Director General of CAAP, retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, referring to the campus as a forward-thinking initiative that will act as a center for excellence, innovation, and training to nurture the upcoming generation of skilled aviation professionals.

This collaboration also falls in line with the government's strategy to decentralize aviation growth and harness the potential of regional hubs like Clark, as highlighted by CAAP.

CAAP emphasized its unwavering support and dedication to the success of the Clark Aviation Campus, recognizing its crucial role in fostering a strong aviation workforce and elevating the aviation education landscape in the country.
