Over the weekend, Iranian forces successfully intercepted Israeli drones conducting a reconnaissance mission in the northwest region, according to state media reports. The incident is part of ongoing exchanges of fire between the two countries.
The state television confirmed that the Iranian forces in the Salmas border area shot down the Israeli drones that had entered Iran's airspace without authorization. The drones were reportedly on espionage and reconnaissance missions.
Additionally, Iran's Fordow nuclear site sustained limited damage, as confirmed by the country's atomic energy body.
