An incident of shooting at a tourist villa in Bali resulted in the death of an Australian man and left another Australian injured, according to local police.

Chief Arif Batubara of the Badung Police confirmed that reports of the shooting came in on Saturday morning, leading to the immediate transportation of the two victims to a hospital in Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali.

The deceased Australian man was identified as 32-year-old Zivan Radmanovic from Melbourne, as revealed by local authorities. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time, with investigations ongoing and efforts to gather witness statements underway.

The shooting incident occurred at Villa Casa Santisya, as reported by Chief Arif Batubara of the Badung Police. The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has extended consular assistance to the family of the deceased Australian and stands ready to assist the injured Australian as well.
