A Thai singer recently shared his harrowing experience of surviving a fatal 1998 plane crash where he was seated in 11A, the same seat number as the lone survivor of the Air India tragedy. Ruangsak Loychusak, who was on Thai Airways Flight TG261, recounted the trauma he faced after the crash that claimed 101 lives. Loychusak struggled with flying for years, experiencing anxiety and fear whenever he saw dark clouds or rainstorms outside the window.

The sole survivor of Air India Flight AI 171, Viswashkumar, was also seated in 11A. He tragically lost his brother in the crash, who was seated in 11J. Originally from Diu, the brothers were British citizens of Indian origin running businesses in the UK and India. Viswashkumar's survival and the eerie seat connection between the two incidents highlight the stories of cheating death and the lasting impact of such traumatic events.
