Former federal minister and senior PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique recently met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to engage in discussions regarding the country's political and economic situation.

During their meeting, Rafique praised the prime minister for introducing a budget that he deemed as 'people-friendly.' He viewed it as a positive step towards achieving economic stability and providing relief to the public.

Earlier on the same day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also recognized World Blood Donor Day by expressing gratitude to voluntary donors for their selfless acts. He stressed the significance of increasing public awareness about the life-saving benefits of regular blood donations, especially for individuals undergoing medical procedures, childbirth, and those fighting serious illnesses like cancer and anemia.

'This day serves as a global acknowledgment of the selfless heroes who donate blood to offer others a chance at life,' he remarked, underscoring the ongoing necessity for consistent and safe blood donations.
