Trooping the Colour is held annually to mark the reigning monarch's official birthday.

Members of the British royal family, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children, participated in the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London. The event, held to celebrate the reigning monarch's official birthday, featured King Charles III and Queen Camilla alongside the Wales family.

This year marked the third Trooping the Colour for King Charles III, with the ceremony taking place on June 14, 2025. The royal family, including Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, arrived at Buckingham Palace ahead of the parade.

Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte made a stylish entrance in coordinated aqua outfits. The Princess of Wales wore a bespoke Catherine Walker coat dress and a wide-brimmed hat, accessorized with a pearl drop earring set and the Irish Guards regiment brooch. Princess Charlotte donned a lighter aqua dress and a delicate brooch that belonged to Queen Elizabeth.

During the parade, Prince William rode a horse named Darby as Colonel of the Welsh Guards, wearing their ceremonial uniform. The children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, traveled in a horse-drawn carriage down The Mall, dressed in outfits that matched their parents.

More than 1,300 parading soldiers and 300 musicians participated in the military parade, which also included a flypast over Buckingham Palace. Last year's event was significant for Charles and Kate, who had both announced cancer diagnoses earlier in the year.
