Indian smartphone brand Lava has introduced two new budget-friendly 5G smartphones for the Indian market—Lava Storm Lite 5G and Lava Storm Play 5G. These models offer competitive features at affordable prices.

Display and Design

Both smartphones come with a 6.75-inch LCD display featuring HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing users with a smooth and immersive viewing experience. The devices are available in attractive colour options: Astral Blue and Cosmic Titanium.

Performance and Variants

• Lava Storm Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and offered in 64GB or 128GB storage options.
• Lava Storm Play 5G is equipped with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage capacity.

Both smartphones support expandable memory via a microSD card and run on the latest Android 15 OS. Additionally, they come with dual SIM support for added convenience.

Camera and Security

Both phones feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor ensures easy and secure unlocking.

Lava Storm Lite 5G (4GB RAM + 64GB Storage) is priced at ₹7,999 and will be available for purchase on Amazon during a special sale on June 24 at 12 PM. Lava Storm Play 5G (6GB RAM + 128GB Storage) is priced at ₹9,999 and will go on sale via Amazon on June 19 at 12 PM.

Lava has also confirmed that both smartphones will receive 1 major Android OS update and 2 years of security updates, making them an attractive choice in the budget smartphone segment.
