The unexpected passing of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, former husband of Karisma Kapoor, has left many in disbelief. The 53-year-old tragically passed away during a polo match in London after suffering a cardiac arrest caused by a bee sting. As the news spread, emotional tributes have poured in, celebrating his charisma and love for sports.

Shalini Passi, an art patron, shared her shock and fond memories of her last conversation with Sunjay. She described him as a role model who touched many lives. The funeral is scheduled to be held in Delhi, awaiting the repatriation process due to his U.S. citizenship.

Shikhar Pahariya recently posted a photo of Sunjay Kapur in his polo gear, along with a caption that read, “Rest in peace, Champ. Om Shanti.” The image serves as a touching tribute to the late industrialist.

Passi expressed deep sorrow over Sunjay Kapur’s sudden demise, highlighting their friendship and the impact of his loss. She recalled their recent conversation and the joy they shared over her success in the series Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives.

While the funeral arrangements are being made in Delhi, the process of repatriating Sunjay Kapur's remains to India may face delays due to his American citizenship. His father-in-law, Ashok Sachdev, mentioned that the postmortem is currently underway, and the body will be brought back to India once all formalities are completed.

Sunjay Kapur is survived by his wife Priya Sachdev and their son Azarias. He was previously married to actress Karisma Kapoor, with whom he has two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
