The mother of a toddler who died in 2005 has spoken out about a decades-long investigation and two trials.

The mother of a young child who passed away in 2005 has come forward to discuss the extensive investigation and two trials that followed.

Jordan Thompson was discovered unconscious in the bathtub by his mother, Bernice, who had left him in the care of her boyfriend, Cecil Patrick Kennedy, while she ran errands.

Kennedy was charged with involuntary manslaughter when an antidepressant was found in the child's system following a toxicology report. Despite two trials, no verdict was reached, and the decision was made not to pursue a third trial by the director of public prosecution.

Tonight, Jordan's mother, still seeking closure, is speaking out in hopes of achieving justice for her son.
