Bullet holes and a bloody mess were left behind after two Australian men were gunned down in Bali in what appears to be a targeted attack.

A tragic incident unfolded in Bali when two Australian men were shot in what appears to be a targeted attack, leaving one dead and the other seriously injured.

The shooting took place at a villa in Munggu on the west coast of the Indonesian island, just after midnight on Saturday. The victims, Zivan Radmanovic, 32, and Sanar Ghanim, 34, were attacked by two unidentified assailants on scooters wearing helmets who opened fire inside the villa.

Mr. Radmanovic lost his life at the scene, while Mr. Ghanim was rushed to BIMC Hospital in Kuta in critical condition.

Witnesses reported hearing the attackers speaking with thick Australian accents, with one of them struggling to start his scooter before fleeing the scene. The wife of Mr. Radmanovic witnessed the horrifying incident, hearing him scream from the toilet before he was shot.

Authorities found 17 bullet casings and two projectiles at the crime scene and have launched a manhunt for the perpetrators who are currently at large.

Badung Police chief Arif Batubara stated that investigations are ongoing, and they are seeking witnesses to gather more information about the shooting.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has confirmed that they are assisting the families of the victims and are providing consular support during this challenging time. They expressed their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and are ready to assist the injured Australian as well.
