Kate Middleton was all smiles as she attended Trooping the Colour for her father-in-law King Charles' birthday on Saturday.

Kate Middleton exuded joy as she attended Trooping the Colour to celebrate her father-in-law King Charles' birthday over the weekend. The Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant as she rode in a carriage with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, while Prince William accompanied them on horseback.

Kate and Charlotte both opted for stunning blue ensembles, charming the crowd with their smiles and waves. The sun was shining in London, and Kate dazzled in a vibrant Bria coat dress from Catherine Walker. The aquamarine outfit featured ivory contrast lapels and cuffs, made from wool to keep the Duchess warm in the English weather.

Completing her elegant look, Kate styled her brown hair in a sophisticated updo and wore an aquamarine floral hat by Juliette Botterill. As Colonel of the Irish Guards, she accessorized with the regimental brooch and Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings as a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Princess Charlotte looked just as polished as her mother in a teal dress, sporting her signature half-up, half-down plaits. Trooping the Colour is an annual royal ceremony dating back to 1748, held to celebrate the British monarch's birthday. While King Charles was born on November 14, the Sovereign's Birthday Parade is traditionally held on a Saturday in June for better weather conditions.

The event features a grand military parade with over 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, 400 musicians, and members of the Royal Family in carriages and on horseback. Starting at Buckingham Palace, the parade proceeds to Horse Guards Parade where King Charles receives a royal salute before inspecting the troops. The day concludes with a spectacular flypast by the Royal Air Force, watched by the Royal Family from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

King Charles' inaugural Trooping the Colour took place in June 2023, where Kate and her children rode in a carriage with Queen Camilla. Thousands of spectators lined the streets along The Mall in London to witness the ceremony, a tradition that continued in 2024 and 2025.
