The Philippine Embassy in Israel said it will send aid to the Overseas Filipino worker (OFW) affected by the missile strikes in Israel.

The Philippine Embassy in Israel has pledged to provide aid to Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) impacted by the recent missile strikes in the country. According to a report by Mao dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB, one OFW managed to escape harm by seeking refuge in a shelter during the attacks.

Following the destruction of her home in the missile strike, the OFW has been relocated to a hotel in Tel Aviv. The embassy has assured that it will offer assistance and psychological support to help the affected OFW in the coming days.

It has also advised all Filipinos in the affected areas to move to shelters or secure locations whenever there is a missile alert to ensure their safety.

In a recent Reuters report, both Iran and Israel engaged in missile attacks and airstrikes against each other. This conflict arose after Israel initiated a large-scale air offensive against Iran to prevent its nuclear weapon development.

These attacks have resulted in at least two fatalities and numerous injuries in Israel. GMA Integrated News reporter JP Soriano disclosed that four other Filipinos sustained injuries during the ongoing assaults.

The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv has emphasized that it is closely monitoring the situation and remains on high alert to identify any further casualties.
