Tottenham have completed their first signing since appointing Thomas Frank as the club's new manager, completing a £30m signing of a 20-year-old forward on a six-year deal.

Tottenham has made their first signing under new manager Thomas Frank by completing a £30m deal for 20-year-old forward Mathys Tel on a six-year contract.

After a disappointing domestic season, Spurs ended on a high note by winning the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou. However, Postecoglou was soon replaced by Thomas Frank, who is now preparing for the upcoming season.

Mathys Tel, who struggled for playing time at Bayern Munich, arrived at Tottenham on loan in February for a fee of €10million (£8.5m). He made 20 appearances and scored three goals for the club, including five in the successful European campaign.

Currently representing France at the UEFA Under-21 European Championships, Tel's move to Tottenham was praised by Bayern Munich's sporting director Max Eberl, who wished him well in his future endeavors.
