Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Saif, expressed concerns over the actions of the federal government, describing them as malicious and illegitimate. He stressed the importance of allowing the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to consult with Imran Khan on crucial matters like the provincial budget, as the people have endorsed his ideology and leadership.

According to Barrister Saif, preventing the KP leadership from meeting their leader not only shows bad faith but also goes against the public mandate and judicial orders. He criticized the federal government for its narrow-minded and authoritarian approach in hindering an elected Chief Minister from engaging with his party leader.

He accused the federal government of punishing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its genuine public mandate, which he believes undermines national unity and democratic principles. Barrister Saif emphasized that excluding Imran Khan from consultations is a direct insult to public opinion and democratic values.

He called for immediate permission for the KP leadership to meet with Imran Khan, warning that the ongoing hostility towards him could have serious consequences for national cohesion. Barrister Saif urged the federal government to avoid such undemocratic tactics and respect the people's mandate.
