A person has died after falling from a building onto the pavement outside a popular Adelaide hospitality venue.

Tragedy struck at a popular hospitality venue in Adelaide when a person fell to their death from a building onto the pavement below. The incident occurred near the well-known rooftop venue, 2KW Bar and Restaurant, located in Adelaide's CBD. Emergency services responded to the scene on Sunday following the fatal fall.

The bar, situated on the eighth floor of the former Bank of New South Wales building, is renowned as one of Adelaide's top rooftop spots. Four South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service units, two ambulances, and three police vehicles were present at the scene. Police closed off King William St at the intersection with North Tce in response to the incident.
