Reports from officials in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand confirm that a helicopter crash has resulted in the tragic deaths of seven individuals. The aircraft was en route from Kedarnath, following a popular pilgrimage path in the Himalayan mountains.
Following the crash, rescue teams were promptly dispatched to the scene, and local police have conducted an operation to recover the bodies. Among the deceased were the pilot and a two-year-old child, as reported by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) will be conducting an investigation into the incident.
