Clare, a content creator, and her husband Ian, a top earner in the UK, have been struggling to make ends meet despite his six-figure salary due to high taxes and living costs.

In August, they will be moving with their three children to an undisclosed location, planning to sell their home in Barry and embrace a new lifestyle.

The decision to move was influenced by a desire for more family time, a change from the daily grind in the UK, and the restrictive school system that doesn't allow flexibility for family travel.

The family is considering Thailand as a potential new home, attracted by the outdoor lifestyle, beaches, and food, despite the limitations on land ownership for foreigners.
